The BEST Sports Entertainer
I wouldn't like to see someone with no mic skills hold the WWE Undisputed Championship, no matter HOW good of a technical Wrestler or presence he is. I mean, we're talking "WWE" here, and the WWE superstar has to have the ability to Entertain, not just with his Wrestling, but with his Promos/Interviews aswell. A great example of this is Kurt Angle. He's got to be one of the best Technical Wrestlers this industry has ever seen. When he first came into the WWE he wasn't the best on the mic, and sounded a bit shaky during his promos. Well flash forward 3 years later, and see how much of an improvement he's made in not just his Mic skills, but his in-ring ability also!
My main point I want to make is, that the WWE is DEVELOPING entertainers with the style they have now. I wouldn't want to see the WWE turn completely into a technical wrestling fed, with short promos and rushed segments, because then in 10 years down the road, there won't be very much room when the adults of tomorrow(the kids of today), or the kids of tomorrow want to see the entertainment aspect of Wrestling.
Basically it's all a part of Evolution. In wrestling's early days there were guys jumping up and down, yelling and trying to get the crowd to laugh and react to go with all the wrestling they were doing, and that just evolved into a newer generation that focused alot harder to make their characters get "over" with the crowd, and a big part of that is how they promo.
So fast forward 20 years, and what do you see? I see many great icons to be, who haven't realized they want to pursue the wrestling business yet, come to life. And for them to be successfull, they have to see exactly what comes first, and improve on their weaknessess. Which means they have to know that they're going to be entertaining the crowd 100% of the time, in-ring or out of the ring. Kurt Angle did that, and he's just a start of many legends to come, who study the wrestling business and learn how to "play the game". It's just this game changes, and for the better over time.
And speaking of Angle, even IF Kurt Angle didn't win that gold medal in the 1996 Olympics, he'd still be in the same place he is now! Tearing up the WWE Superstars. His mic skills are excellent, which is a huge part of what makes a great Wrestler today, and his heel character is both hillarious, while generating genuine heat from the crowd, and he has talent oozing off of him 100% of the time! He puts on the BEST matches in the WWE today, which is CRUCIAL to being a great professional wrestler, and Kurt Angle very well could be the greatest potential WWE superstar in the history of the WWE franchise. You just watch. He'll be remembered as the greatest of all time someday!
I'm now going to compare Kurt Angle someone who is on the verge of greatness, but isn't at Angle's level: Chris Benoit. Kurt is almost equal to every aspect of technical wrestling as Benoit. Benoit may even be BETTER at putting on great matches than Angle. The only thing that makes Benoit below Angle overall, is the mic skills aspect! Benoit is average on the mic, and Angle is superb in my opinion.
Enjoy WWE Vengeance on July 21st! The main event features not only The Undertaker(Current Undisputed Champion) and the Rock, but Kurt Angle as well in a triple threat matchup! This will be a classic!
That wraps it up for now, but email me if you want to hear my thoughts on any other WWE subject. Until laters- Jay C

New Tag Teams
The WWE is having a tremendous amount of trouble with the Tag Team division right now, and they should be trying to figure out a way to bring some life into this division. The WWE is famous for bringing back teams and angles that were successfull in the past, like NWO, Road Warriors, Hogan, or the recurring "Baby" angle. No, I don't want to see old tag teams reunite, or REALLY old tag teams like "LOD" come back to the WWE! What the WWE needs to do is bring in some "real" tag teams. Either that, or find two young guys that would be dedicated to the idea of Tagging full-time. Are the bookers mad? They put Orton with Mark Henry, to fight Billy and Chuck last week, and Holly and Valbowski to fight them this week? Hell, I realize the WWE needs to tag certain guys to add to their respective 1-on-1 feuds, but when you start tagging two guys just for the hell of it, with no real chance of anything even becoming of it, you know things have hit Rock Bottom(No pun intended).
I like the idea of Perry Saturn tagging full time. They were thinking of bringing back the tag team called "the Eliminators", or at least the same idea, with Perry Saturn one of the members.
Randy Orton and Perry Saturn: The Eliminators!
These two would compliment each other very well in the ring. They have two marketable physiques, too, with Saturn having a look that could strike fear into just about anyone, and Orton appealing to the females, liked by marks and Smarts/Smarks alike because of his attitude and high-flying moves and all-around skills. Also Saturn is more of a submissions specialist, while Orton is everything but(from what i've seen so far)
What do you think of this idea for a tag team?:
Chris Nowitzki, and Shawn Stasiak!
If Chris could get Stasiak to get out of his "Planet Stasiak" mindstate, it would be a hell of a push for these two superstars. Nowitzki could really play his "Harvard graduate" gimmick on this one, claiming it was his intellectual genius that could persuade Stasiak to become a fellow scholar. It would give Stasiak an excuse to really show off his talents, which he hasn't yet had a real chance to show off. Even the announcer's (Coach and Raven on heat) have said that if someone could get Stasiak to stop hearing voices from above, Stasiak would be a top contender!
